Properties:
- Pectospeed is a powerful dietetic feed for rapid suspension of nutritional and watery diarrhoea. Provides electrolytes and essential vitamins for promoting physiological body function.
- Provides dextrose for supplying available energy.
- Provides dietary fibers for protection of gut epithelial cells, for slowing down gut peristaltic movements and thus supporting water and nutrient absorption from the gut to the blood system of the calf.
Dosage and Application:
For duration of treatment, stop milk feeds. Mix 1 sachet of Pectospeed per liter of warm water (40ºC). Feed 1-2 liter per calf according to mass and severity of diarrhoea. Recommended intervals between feedings are 7-12 hours, up to 3 doses. After completion of Pectospeed treatment, it is recommended to add 0,5 liter Pectospeed mixture to the milk feed. During Pectospeed treatment, calves should have free access to clean water.
Warnings:
Dispose of any unused solution in slurry or dirty water. Discard unused product and empty packaging in farm refuse. Keep feeding utensils clean and do not use solution contaminated with foreign material.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children and uninformed persons.
