Emulsifiable concentrate for the control ectoparasites especially on cattle, but also sheep, horses and dogs. Controls all kinds of ticks, blowflies, screw worms, keds, lice and fleas.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use only as directed.
Plunge dips
Initial filling: use 1 L of Steladone 300 EC per 600 L of water.
Replenishing: use 3 L of Steladone 300 EC per 1000 L of water.
Spray races
Initial filling: use 1 L of Steladone 300 EC per 600 L of water.
Replenishing: use 100 ml of Steladone 300 EC for every 100 head of cattle sprayed.
Hand spray: Use 160 ml of Steladone 300 EC per 100 L of water.
Treatment intervals
Follow normal practice for your area. Where East Coast fever is very severe, dipping or spraying twice weekly is recommended.
Preparation of dip and spray solution
Shake container well before use. Premix by slowly adding the double amount of water to the necessary quantity of Steladone 300 EC and stir well.
For dips: Add this premix to the dip tank filled with water by pouring it over the surface making sure that a larger amount is added to the deeper end of the tank. Mix contents of tank well before commencing dipping.
For sprays: Add water as required to the premix and stir well.

Steladone 300® EC
Caution: Poisonous. Handle with extreme care. Toxic to fish, birds and bees. Keep out of reach of children, inexperienced persons and
animals.
Handling precautions: Do not ingest. Do not inhale spray mist. Wear
adequate clothing to prevent skin contact. Do not eat, drink or smoke during work. Change clothes after work and wash thoroughly with soap and water. Change wetted clothing immediately.
First aid: Remove the patient from further contact with the substance to a well ventilated area. Strip off clothing and wash contaminated skin with soap and water. Rinse eyes with plenty of water. If the substance is swallowed, induce vomiting provided the patient is conscious. (Do not administer fluids by mouth to an unconscious person.) Call a physician if poisoning is suspected.
Antidote: Atropine, in addition, oxime preparations such as PAM or
TOXOGONIN under medical supervision.
Disposal: Empty containers should be destroyed and buried. Empty
containers are in no case to be used for any other purposes especially not for foodstuffs or feed. Treat dip and spray solution with caustic lime (5 kg/100 L) and pour on fallow land away from livestock-feeding areas and where there is no risk of contamination of ground- or surface-water. Do not discharge into waterways, ponds or ditches.
Liability: The user bears the risk for damage resulting from factors
beyond the manufacturer’s control. The manufacturer declines all
liability for damage resulting from improper storage or use of the
product.NOTE: Do not mix with any additional compound. On treatment days
do not treat for worms. Do not dip calves under 3 months of age. Young animals should not be dipped or sprayed in the heat of the day. Do not treat under rainy weather conditions. Do not contaminate foodstuffs and feed.
Note to veterinarian: If poisoning of treated animals is suspected, give atropine intravenously at a rate of 1 mg/10 kg, repeatedly until effect is observed. Repeat as needed at a rate of 0.5 mg/10 kg to maintain atropinisation.
Withholding period: Do not slaughter cattle or sheep within 3 days of
treatment. Do not treat dairy cattle within 5 hours of milking.
