Vetpharma Amitraz 12,5% is a parasiticide that controls ticks and kills lice and mange mites on cattle.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Use only as directed.
Only for spraying of animals (hand spraying or spray races). Dipwash must be freshly prepared for each spraying.
 
Mixing instructions
Premix the required amount of product with water in a suitable container. When well mixed, add to the measured bulk water in the spray sump and stir thoroughly. Use at the rate of 2 parts product to 1000 parts water.

2 L : 1000 L water
 
Frequency of use - intensive tick control
When used as directed at weekly intervals, Vetpharma Amitraz 12.5% will provide intensive tick control. All animals should be treated and interruption of the programme should be avoided as they will then, if not vaccinated, be susceptible to various tick-borne diseases.
 
Extended treatment intervals
Under circumstances of low tick challenge, Vetpharma Amitraz 12.5% may be used, at the user's discretion, at intervals greater than 7 days. In these circumstances, users are advised to make use of relevant vaccines to obtain optimal protection of their cattle against prevalent tick-borne diseases.
 
Mange - spray weekly
 
Lice - spray twice with a 7 day interval

    • Do not slaughter animals for human consumption within 7 days of last dipping.
    • There is no withdrawal period for milk.
    • DO NOT USE ON HORSES
    • Handle with care.
    • Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals.
    • In cases of poisoning, call a doctor and make the label available.
    • Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, notify the registration holder.
    • Protect product from extremes of heat and cold and from dampness.
    • Tightly reseal the container if all the contents have not been used.
    • Destroy empty container by perforation or flattening and never reuse for any  other purpose.
    • Do not contaminate water sources.
    • Do not mix with any other dip.
