DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Use only as directed.

For the vaccination of pullets (chickens).

Allow the vaccine to gradually reach room temperature (20 - 25°C) prior to use.

Shake well before use and at regular intervals during the vaccination process.

Remove the aluminium overseal just before the vaccine is ready to use.

Route of administration: Oral.

Ensure that all animals are vaccinated.

Use clean materials.

General directions: The vaccine must be administered in drinking water not earlier than 7 days of age.

Calculated the quantity of drinking water in which to resuspend the vaccine, so as to administer one dose per subject. Measure the quantity of water consumed on previous days, to precisely calculate the correct quantity in each case. The water and equipment used for vaccination must not be chlorinated and must be absolutely free from disinfectants and detergents.

Ensure that there is a sufficient number of drinkers.

To facilitate uniform consumption of the vaccine, thirst the birds prior to vaccination.

Carefully dissolve the freeze-dried vaccine in a small quantity of water, stir well and pour the suspension in the tank containing the water needed to vaccinate all the subjects. Stir the vaccine suspension carefully at each stage.

Ensure that all subjects drink the vaccine suspension within 2 hours.

Recommended vaccination programme: Vaccinate twice, with a period of at least 4 weeks between vaccinations, before point of lay.

In case of severe local fowl typhoid situations with early infection of subjects, the recommended vaccination programme can be brought forward to 7 - 10 days of age.
