Aids in the prevention of Salmonella Enteritidis and Salmonella Typhimurium infection in fowls.

 

COMPOSITION

Each 0,5 ml containsInactivated Salmonella Enteritidis: 10⁹ CFU

Inactivated Salmoneila Typhimurium: 10⁹ CFU

 

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Use only as directed.

Allow the vaccine to gradually reach room temperature (20 - 25 °C) before use. Shake the vial well before and at regular intervals during use. Once open the vial must be used within 24 hours.
First vaccination: 6 - 8 week old puliets
Inject 0,5 ml subcutaneously under the skin at the back of the neck.
Booster vaccination: 14 - 16 weeks
Inject 0,5 ml subcutaneously under the skin at the back of the neck.

 

STORAGE

Store and transport refrigerated at 2 - 8 °C. Do not freeze.

SET-VAC

    • Fowls intended for human consumption must not be slaughtered within 42 days after the last vaccination.
    • Only healthy fowls shouid be vaccinated.
    • Keep out of reach of children and uninformed persons.
    • Destroy any unused vaccine by, for example, burning and dispose of all vaccine containers after vaccination.
    • Do not store partially used containers for future use and use the entire contents within 24 hours after opening.
    • Avoid intravenous injection.
    • Avoid contact with the skin and self-injection. Accidental self-injection could lead to a severe local allergic reaction. Contact a physician immediately and inform him/her that the vaccine contains a mineral oil.
    • Although this vaccine has been extensively tested under a wide variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. lf this is suspected, contact the registration holder.
    • Do not mix this vaccine with any other vaccines.
    • Use according to the number of doses as indicated
    • The vaccine should be administered in accordance with standard aseptic conditions for vaccination.
    • Used needles, syringes and vials should be disposed of in a safe manner.
    • It is good vaccination practice when handling the vaccine to avoid contact with the eyes, hands and clothing.
